Tour Program
Day 1. Kathmandu. Arrival
Arrival in Kathmandu, check in at the hotel. We rest after a long flight, and then go for a walk through the evening city in the famous area of Tamel. Dinner on the roof of one of the best panoramic restaurants in Kathmandu and tasting the most famous Nepalese dish.
Day 2. Kathmandu
Excursion day in Kathmandu: we examine the central city square Durbar, the majestic Buddhist Stupa Buddhanath, the sacred temple complex Swayambhunath, as well as the mystical city of the dead Pashupatinath. We buy the missing equipment, which can be useful for us during the trek and walk along the narrow streets of Kathmandu, where literally every yard contains something interesting and unusual.
Day 3. Kathmandu- Pokhara
We move to Pokhara - a picturesque resort town near the huge mountain lake Pheva. From this place most of the treks begin towards Himalayas, already well seen from here. In the evening we walk along the lake and enjoy the tranquility of this atmospheric place.
Day 4. Pokhara
Day in Pokhara. We boat on Lake Feva, visiting little beaches hidden from the eyes and picturesque places. We examine the main attractions of Pokhara, including the Mountaineering Museum and the famous World Piece Pagoda, symbolizing the unity of all races and religions on earth. If desired, you can also arrange a flight on a paraplane from the village of Sarangkot located high above Pokhara. Preparing for the upcoming trekking.
Day 5. Pokhara- Nayapul- Uleri
In the morning we move to the village of Nayapul, where our trek begins. Through the stone steps we rise to the tropics, where dense jungles close instantly over our heads. Here, flowers blossom and exotic birds sing, green terraces of rice plantations surround the authentic nepalese villages. In this bright entourage we have to go up to the place of lodging - the village of Ulleri, where we are staying in the most picturesque guest house. From there, in good weather conditions, a beautiful view opens up to Southern Annapurna, Hinchuli and Machapuchkhare.
Day 6. Uleri- Gorepani
Further on, our way passes through the world's largest rhododendron forest. These forests are very old and many rhododendrons managed to grow to ten or more meters in height. When the rhododendron blossoms in spring, the forest turns into a fantastic thicket. Our destination for today, the village of Gorepani, is located on the saddle of a small pass, from there we will see the majestic view of South Annapurna and Himchuli.
Day 7. Gorepani- Punhill- Shikha
Today we get up in the dark, at 5 am, in order to meet the dawn on the famous Punhill viewpoint. From the top a unique panorama of two mountain ranges will open for us: from the north we will see the Annapurna massif, and in the west one can see the majestic Dhaulagiri. After enjoying the views, we go down to Gorepani, where we have breakfast and start the way down through the rhododendron forests to the village of Shikha.
Day 8. Shikha- Tadapani
This is perhaps the easiest day of our trekking. We go down to the river Kimroong khola and cross it on a small bridge. The road passes among eternally green trees, palms, rice fields, hanging bridges and small villages. After a short transition, we will reach Tadapani, where the rest of the day can be spent bathing in hot natural springs.
Day 9. Tadapani- Landruk
Today we are going to Landruk, on the way to which we will enjoy several stunning waterfalls and authentic Nepalese villages. The weather is becoming warmer, since we are again in a dense jungle.
Day 10. Landruk- Pokhara
We continue our way towards the village of Chomrong - a beautiful view point where people who have free time stay for a few days to enjoy the panorama opening up from there. Our path will run through a deep ravine, then leading up and down trail. After Chomrong we move to Pokhara.
Day 11. Chitwan
We move to Chitwan National Park. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where a wide variety of wildlife, plants and animals are represented. In particular, in the park you can find rare species of Indian rhinoceroses, elephants and Bengal tigers in their natural habitat. In total, the park hosts more than 50 species of animals: deer, monkey, antelope and even bears. That's why this place is so popular for a safari. Further we go boating on a canoe in picturesque places of the park.
Day 12. Chitwan- Kathmandu
We leave Chitwan. Drive to Kathmandu.
Free time in Kathmandu.
